Who is Adalynn?
I am an eighth Grade student who is currently taking a High school credit course. I am creating this page, to help me improve my journey as a writer, coder, and student!
My Hobbies?
The things I enjoy are very special to me, and I think they defy who I am as a person. One of the things I enjoy the most is cosplaying. I’ve been cosplaying for a few years now, and have met so many people in the cosplay community, helping me improve my cosplay journey. Most of my cosplays revolve around my favorite anime characters, or game characters. For example, Bakugo from My Hero Academia.

Where, and how music became important.
Music is very important to me, and helps me express my feelings and thoughts in ways I never thought I could. RadioHead is what introduced me to these feelings. Ever since my Grandpa played their famous song creep out in the garage while I played outside, I had never been more in love with a song. After a few years, I finally found the band again, and ever since then, have been listening to their music, never skipping a song.
Never cried to a song harder than Jeff Buckley’s songs.
I’m sure we’ve all cried to a song before, maybe because you related to a lyric, or maybe it reminded you of someone you love. Well, that’s where Jeff Buckley came in for me. When I found Jeff Buckley’s song “Lover, you should’ve come over”, I cried for over thirty minutes straight. His GRACE album, and his music overall is extremely beautiful. I wish I could’ve seen a live performance!
Music is truly beautiful. Adriane Lenker taught me that.
Adriane Lenker, another beautiful music artist, had reminded me of a few of my family members. Just a few days after my memaw passed, I had discovered Adriane Lenker’s song “Forward Beckon Rebound”, and a few other of Lenker’s songs. Her Album cover art, her voice, and the emotion she put behind her lyrics reminded me of my Memaw, and made me understand that a loved one isn’t truly gone, because we can always find them in the things we love. Thank you, Adriane Lenker.
